You may have more complex care needs requiring greater support with personal or nursing care.

Options available can include services meet your needs in your own home:

  • Meals on wheels
  • A nurse loos after a lady in the community.Help with bathing/dressing
  • Help with getting out of bed
  • Help with shopping
  • Help preparing meals
  • Help with cleaning
  • Community alarms

Other services supporting your health needs include:

  • Chiropody
  • Occupational therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Continence advice

Services such as these can help you remain in your own home.

Options

If you have specific needs, sheltered housing may be an appropriate option. Otherwise, you may benefit from short-term respite care or moving into a care or nursing home on a permanent basis.
