If you spend
more than 35 hours a week caring for a person with an illness or disability, you may
be able to get social security benefits as a full-time carer.

This includes benefits such
as:

  • Carer’s Allowance
  • Income Support or Pension Credit
  • Universal Credit
  • Housing Benefit
  • Rates Rebate
